The ARIADNE Final Conference, Unlocking the potential of digital archaeological data, was held in the stunning Sala di Luca Giordano in the Palazzo Medici-Riccardi in Florence.
The conference programme included a wide range of speakers from ARIADNE, Italian CH authorities and representatives of related Research Infrastructures and archaeological associations. The morning of day addressed the European perspective of use of Cloud technology and European Research Infrastructures for the Humanities and Cultural Heritage. The focus of the afternoon was on F-A-I-R:
- Improving Findability and Accessibility, contributions on ARIADNE’s Portal and TNA activity
- Improving Interoperability and Reusability, contributions on ARIADNE’s services, tools, logical and theoretical models
Day covered the impact and benefits that ARIADNE has contribution to the European archaeological community. It concluded with a presentation of a future roadmap for ARAIDNE.
The PARTHENOS RI also held a Workshop on the afternoon of Wednesday the 14th at a nearby venue in Florence.
