CH Infrastructures Conference, Rome

A two day event was organized at the National Library, Rome in conjunction with the Italian Presidency of the European Union which focussed upon Research Infrastructures and e-Infrastructures for Cultural Heritage. On day 2, after overviews of infrastructures CLARIN and CENDARI in the morning, the afternoon session was devoted to ARIADNE and several presentations were made by key participants to highlight the objectives and progress to date of the project. After an introduction by Prof. Franco Niccolucci, a series of presentations by the speakers highlighted ARIADNE’s achievements and work under way following the first 18 months of the research infrastructure.
