This document provides a summary of the main findings of the survey published in ARIADNE D2.1.
Following desk-top research and a series of pilot interviews, ARIADNE ran two online surveys, one targeted at archaeological researchers and directors of research institutions, and the second targeted the managers or directors of data repositories. 692 researchers and 52 repository managers completed the questionnaire.
