On 1-4 August there was a meeting of the CIDOC CRM SIG and the IFLA FRBR Review Group at FORTH, in Heraklion, Crete.
This was the 36th joint meeting of the CIDOC CRM SIG with ISO TC46 SC4 WG9 and the 29th FRBR – CIDOC CRM harmonization meeting and was attended by representatives from both the CIDOC CRM SIG and the IFLA FRBR Review Group.
Achille Felicetti of PIN presented ongoing work in on CRMarchaeo, the extension related to archaeological excavations, and on CRMtex, the extension related to epigraphy. Maria Theodoridou of ICS-FORTH presented “Methodological tips for mappings to CIDOC CRM” – the paper presented at the ARIADNE thread in CAA2016 in Oslo.
The needs for training and education were also extensively discussed.
