D2.1 First report on users needs

Following desk-top research and a series of pilot interviews, ARIADNE ran two online surveys, one targeted at archaeological researchers and directors of research institutions, and the second targeted the managers or directors of data repositories. 692 researchers and 52 repository managers completed the questionnaire.

This deliverable provides an analysis of the findings of the survey.
